Margaret McKone is the Executive Director for the Munk School of Global Affairs.
Reporting to the Director, and working with the Munk School’s senior administrative leadership team, she provides leadership and strategic direction for the overall mission of the School including programming and outreach, revenue generation and business administration activities, and ensures the efficient and effective strategic management of the School’s resources. Administrative oversight includes: finance, human resources, communications and branding, IT, facility operations and services and space management, capital and renovation project management, health and safety, governance, as well as risk management.
Margaret has worked at the University of Toronto for over 30 years. Prior to joining the Munk School in 2008, she served as the Director of the Dean’s Office in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering after serving for over a decade in various senior level positions in the Office of the Governing Council.
