The Rhodes Trust is now accepting applicants for the Rhodes Scholarships (China Constituency).

Established in 1903, the Rhodes Scholarship is the oldest and one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The Rhodes Trust launched the inaugural China scholarships in 2015 and has since selected 24 Chinese Rhodes Scholars for study at Oxford. See scholar spotlights.

Less well-known is the fact that Chinese citizens enrolled at Western universities are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the criteria outlined in this information sheet. Institutional endorsement is NOT required for applying via the China constituency.

Applications for this year’s Rhodes Scholarships must be received by midnight on October 8, 2021 (China Standard Time).
