2025-2026 Petro Jacyk Non-Residential Scholars

The Petro Jacyk Program for the Study of Ukraine at CEES is pleased to welcome 2025-2026 Petro Jacyk Non-Residential Scholars, who will be engaged with the Program remotely throughout this academic year. PJP has been offering such engagements since the start of full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 in order to support Ukrainian scholars whose professional activities were disrupted in the course of the war.

The scholars were selected during a highly competitive process. They will be supported in their research and will enjoy access to the University of Toronto Library’s rich electronic collections. During their engagement, scholars will work on and present their proposed scholarly, artistic, public policy-related project on a common theme related to the war and the rebuilding of Ukraine. They will build connections with scholars from the University of Toronto and other universities of Ontario and share their expertise with us. Learn more about them here.
