Professor Timothy Snyder (University of Toronto) speaks with author-illustrator Nora Krug about their collaboration on the graphic version of Professor Snyder's 2017 On Tyranny, a book which has become a 'how-to' guide for resisting contemporary authoritarianism. Moderated by Associate Professor Hang-Sun Kim, Dean of Arts & Vice-Provost at Trinity College, this conversation will provide a timely call to action ahead of the 2026 US mid-term election and, in a time of great uncertainty, emphasize the importance of being active, conscious, and deliberate participants in resistance.
