Kanishka Goonewardena is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Directory, Program in Planning. He received his Ph.D. in city and regional planning from Cornell in 1998. His research interests include critical theory and Marxist philosophy, architecture and urban planning, and colonialism, imperialism, nationalism.
