Biography

Michelle has had a long professional association with the arts in Toronto.  She has held senior positions in Marketing at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Toronto International Film Festival, Rogers Broadcasting and TVOntario.  She is currently a Director of the National Gallery of Canada’s Foundation Board, a Director of Canada’s National Ballet School Board and a Director of the Art Canada Institute Board.  Michelle is the Chair of the newly established Public Art Program for the Don Valley River Park Trail and is the founder and Chair of the Women’s Art Initiative at the Art Gallery of Ontario, a group that supports women artists.  She was also on the Alumni Board of Havergal College and participated in the Mentor Program in the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Toronto.  Michelle has a BA from Victoria College at the University of Toronto. She is married and has three young children.
