Yong Wang

Distinguished Fellow, Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy


Wang Yong is a professor in the School of International Studies and the Director of the Center for International Political Economy, Peking University. At Peking University, he serves in the HKSAR Senior Civil Servants Training Program on Chinese Affairs and in the African Diplomat Training Program of the Ministry of Commerce. He is also a professor at the Party School of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prof. Wang is a widely published expert on Chinese political economy, Chinese foreign relations, China-US relations, regional cooperation, international political economy, the World Trade Organization and global governance. He is a consultant to the Asia Development Bank and a member of both the International Institute for Strategic Studies and the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on the Global Trade System.
