February 26, 2019 | By Piali Roy |
The Gender, Diversity and Public Policy Student Initiative presents a roundtable on Tuesday, March 5.
Join GDPP for an engaging roundtable discussion on the recruitment, inclusion and retention of women in STEM fields. The discussion will also explore creating an inclusive workplace culture and how to foster female leadership within the burgeoning tech industry in the Canadian context. We are thrilled to welcome panelists Doina Oncel, Founder/CEO of hErVOLUTION, and Carolyn Van, Director of Program Design at Canada Learning Code to help unpack this pertinent policy issue.
The event will take place on March 5, 2019, from 12-2 pm in CG160. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The event is open to all UofT students, alumni and faculty.
