The Digital Public Square (DPS), a project that aims to increase digital space for free expression, is now live on the web.

DPS enables enable people to share their stories, participate in open debates, and build communities in places where civil society and citizen participation urgently need support. Some of its initiatives include Rouhani Meter (developed with technology lab ASL19), a promise-tracker that fact-checks commitments made by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani; and Majlis Monitor, a platform that helps Iranian citizens freely access information about their parliament. DPS is also developing a new resource to help users stay safe online.
