Sarah Stern is pursuing a Master of Arts in European and Eurasian Studies at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, where she holds a SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship. Her research interests include migration, dispossession, minority and migrant education access, and the political and public response to immigration. Sarah’s major research paper examines educational opportunity for refugee children and youth living in refugee centres along the Balkan corridor. She is currently working for Kondan & Symss Consultancy and has previously conducted field research in Budapest on the marginalization of Romani students in the Hungarian education system as well as worked on the education and science program at the International Development Research Centre. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in European Affairs and English Literature from Victoria College, University of Toronto.
