Kristina Chopa

Kristina Chopa is a Master’s student in International Affairs at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and Global Affairs in Munk School, UofT. With a background in documentary filmmaking and NGO work, she explores how narratives, memory, and media shape public understanding of international conflicts. 

Originally from Ukraine, Kristina’s research and creative work center on the intersections of war, identity, and collective responsibility. Since October 2025, she has been a research assistant for Professor Snyder.
