Sarah Chute is a research assistant at the Public History Lab where she conducts historical and historiographic research. She is passionate about histories of transnational migration and biography.
Sarah is also a PhD candidate in the Department of History researching slavery and freedom in the colonial Maritimes and its connections to other parts of the Atlantic world. She holds a M.A. in History from the University of Vermont and a B.A. in History and French from Western Washington University.
