The Petro Jacyk Program for the Study of Ukraine promotes a scholarly understanding of the government, economy, and society of contemporary Ukraine, as well as the country’s history and culture.

Established in 2001 with the support of Petro Jacyk and the Petro Jacyk Education Foundation, the program is housed within the Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (CERES) at the Munk School. Program activities and initiatives are administered by the Director of CERES and Program Administrator in consultation with the Program’s Coordinating Committee.
