Connect with the PCJ community

The PCJ program offers several student leadership opportunities through which you can enrich your learning experience and connect with the wider PCJ community. The PCJ Society is our student executive committee responsible for supporting the social and academic life of the PCJ program. Our PCJ Conference features selected student research and is independently organized around relevant themes of peace, conflict, and justice.

PCJ Society

The PCJ Society is a student leadership group representing all students enrolled in the Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies Program.

PCJ Conference

The 2026 Peace, Conflict & Justice Conference critically examines the transformative role of digital technology in shaping memory, justice, and collective identity. This year’s theme explores how digital technology can serve as both sites of resistance, justice, and political possibility, but also as tools of repression that exacerbate deep-rooted inequalities and grievances. Our goal is to challenge dominant historical narratives, amplify marginalized perspectives, and cultivate dialogue between scholars and students working at the intersections of technology, justice, and memory.

Legal oppression
The first forum will investigate oppression through a legal lens by exploring the identity of Indigenous peoples in Canada
Political oppression
