Student Life

Undergraduate student life at the Munk School is built around small, cohort-based learning and strong opportunities to connect academic study with real-world global issues. Across programs, students learn in seminar-style environments that emphasize discussion, collaboration, and close engagement with faculty and peers.

A defining feature of the experience is experiential learning, where students take part in research projects, case competitions, mentorship opportunities, and policy-focused activities that help translate classroom ideas into practical understanding. Students also have access to a range of community-building opportunities, including student-led initiatives, academic events, and informal gatherings that bring together peers from different programs and disciplines. Together, these experiences foster a tight-knit and intellectually engaged undergraduate community where students develop both analytical skills and a strong sense of connection to global affairs and public policy.
