Wolf Scholars: an innovative undergraduate experience

The Wolf Scholars Program is a transformative and prestigious new scholarship program for Canadian undergraduates, designed to develop Canada's next generation of thoughtful and ambitious leaders.

Accepting 16 outstanding incoming undergraduates each year—from any area of study across the Faculty of Arts & Science at U of T (other than commerce)—the Wolf Scholars Program will convene a diverse, engaged and interdisciplinary cohort. Wolf Scholars will study majors from across the faculty of Arts & Science. Every year, Scholars will come together for an exclusive Academic Seminar taught by renowned professors at the Munk School of Public Policy & Global Affairs. Scholars will dive deep into history, leadership, ethics, and problem-solving, and emerge from the Program with an exceptional critical thinking framework to tackle the opportunities and challenges facing their generation.

In addition to this rigorous and immersive academic experience, the Wolf Scholars Program is distinguished by its unique experiential learning opportunities, giving students the chance to leave the classroom and put their ideas into practice—and their education into action. Retreats and leadership development programming, international and domestic cohort travel, world-class internships at leading business, politics and non-profit organizations, meaningful career training (including business analytics, strategic thinking and public speaking), and interactions with global leaders—all experiences designed to prepare Wolf Scholars to lead in a rapidly changing world. Wolf Scholars will join a community of curious, optimistic and dedicated peers and mentors committed to learning broadly and building on the good that exists in the world.

Wolf Scholars will receive a full tuition scholarship at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Arts & Science for all four years of their undergraduate degree, and an annual stipend to support additional student expenses.

The Program, including four years of tuition and the program's distinctive extracurricular experiences, is fully funded by the Wolf Cooper Foundation and the University of Toronto.

The Wolf Scholars Program was established in 2025 and will welcome its first cohort of students in the fall of 2026. Applications for the Wolf Scholars Program will open in fall of 2025 for the 2026-2027 academic year. For more information, please visit www.wolfscholars.com.
