Kristen Ligers

Kristen Ligers is responsible for aligning professional Master’s programs’ strategy and operations with the broader goals of the Munk School School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, with a focus on creating an excellent student experience in our Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Master of Global Affairs (MGA) programs. She manages a team of recruitment and admissions, program services, alumni, and careers professionals and leads oversight for a portfolio that also includes the staff of co-curricular programming such as the Global Ideas Institute. Kristen works closely with the Munk School Directors team and senior staff colleagues on operational, HR, financial, advancement and events functions. She has been working at the University of Toronto for 23 years.
Megan Ball-Chiodi

Megan is the main point of contact for students enrolled in the MGA program, guiding them through their life cycle as an MGA student from admissions to graduation. She assists students with course advising and registration, directing them to U of T services, completing degree requirements, and advising on financial aid and scholarships. Megan is dedicated to student success in the MGA program.
Sole Fernandez

Sole works closely with second-year MGA students as they navigate their career objectives by organizing professional development workshops, providing career advice and support, and assisting with their job search. In her alumni relations role, Sole works closely with the MGA Alumni Network, keeping them engaged with the School. She also works closely with the many Student Leadership Initiatives (SLIs) and produces the weekly program newsletter and announcements.

Julia Rao
Manager, Global Internships and Career Placement

Julia works closely with the first year MGA students develop the professional skills needed to secure a global internship in the summer between first and second year of the program. She hosts various sessions to learn all about internships and build up a professional toolkit in year one of the MGA. She also works closely with diverse partners to ensure MGA students can connect with a wide array of some of the world best employers.
