Up to four awards of variable amounts based on proposal and competition. Awarded to third-year undergraduate students (at the time of application) who are undertaking a special research project on contemporary China.
Eligibility Criteria
- Reserved for third-year undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts & Science, St. George Campus.
- Students who are interested in undertaking research on contemporary China.
- The award will be used to help defray the project costs associated with the travel and research of student participants.
- Successful participants will be required to share their findings with their peers to extend the learning opportunity.

Award and Payment Info
- Approximately four awards, value of awards will be determined annually by a committee.
- Travel awards are paid at the time of travel after students have completed a Safety Abroad Workshop and registered with the Safety Abroad Office.
Applications
- Complete the Daisy Ho Contemporary China Special Undergraduate Projects Fund Application Form.
- Applicants must upload their completed Budget Template directly to the application form. Budgets submitted in other formats will not be accepted.
Deadline
- Application deadline: March 18, 2024. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
