Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Are there any restrictions on those who have previously received funding through AI?

No, there are no restrictions as long as any other funding you have received was not for the same proposed project.

2. Can two people team up to apply for this fund together?

Yes, as long as each team member meets the eligibility requirements. Each individual should submit a separate application form, but the research statements and budgets can be the same, with a note that you propose to work with (name the other student). The combined possible budget could be up to $10,000 total for two people, to defray reasonable costs associated with the project.
