Daniel Fedorowycz
Biography
Daniel Fedorowycz is Research Associate, Public History Lab. He manages the lab's partnership with the Ukrainian History Global Initiative, a collaboration of more than 90 researchers that is establishing a scholarly and accessible presentation of the deep history of the lands of contemporary Ukraine and the peoples who have inhabited them.
Previously, Daniel was a postdoctoral fellow at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, where he worked with Timothy Snyder. He received his DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford, and has held fellowships at Harvard, Yale, the University of Toronto, and the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna. His research focuses on 20th century European state-building, state repression, and interethnic violence. His work has appeared in Comparative Politics, Democratization, East European Politics and Societies, Nationalities Papers, and East European Jewish Affairs.
