Daniel J. Levitin

Daniel J. Levitin is a professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy and the Faculty of Music. He is an internationally recognized cognitive scientist, neuroscientist, musician, and bestselling author whose research explores music perception, cognition, memory, aging, and human decision-making. He is the author of several acclaimed books, including This Is Your Brain on Music, and has made significant contributions to both the scientific study of music and public understanding of neuroscience.
