Jay Rosenzweig
Biography
Jay Rosenzweig is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rosenzweig & Company, a leadership advisory and executive search firm that helps organizations build exceptional leadership teams and navigate complex talent, governance, and organizational challenges. For more than two decades, he has advised boards, chief executives, entrepreneurs, professional services firms, financial institutions, and growth-stage companies on leadership, succession, and organizational effectiveness.
In addition to his work in business, Jay is Honorary Chair of the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights, where he is actively engaged in initiatives advancing human rights, combating all forms of hatred and discrimination, supporting political prisoners and vulnerable communities, and promoting democratic values, pluralism, and international justice. Through this work, he has contributed to efforts involving genocide prevention, support for dissidents and hostages, advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations, and initiatives that foster dialogue, understanding, and collaboration across communities.
Jay is also an investor, advisor, and entrepreneur with interests spanning artificial intelligence, health innovation, the future of work, and emerging technologies. He is passionate about the intersection of technology, leadership, public policy, and human flourishing, and about ensuring that innovation serves both economic progress and societal well-being.
A longtime advocate for gender equality, Jay is the creator of the Rosenzweig Report on Women in Leadership, one of Canada's longest-running studies examining the representation of women in senior corporate leadership roles. Now in its third decade, the report has helped inform conversations among business leaders, policymakers, academics, and advocates across Canada and beyond.
Throughout his career, Jay has been a connector and convener, bringing together leaders from business, government, academia, technology, media, philanthropy, and civil society to foster dialogue, collaboration, and positive change. He has moderated and participated in conversations with prominent global thinkers, innovators, policymakers, and social impact leaders on issues ranging from leadership and innovation to human rights, social cohesion, and global affairs.
Jay holds a B.A. in Philosophy and B.C.L./LL.B. degrees from McGill University and completed executive education in negotiation at Harvard University. His work sits at the intersection of business, leadership, innovation, public policy, and human rights. He is committed to building bridges across sectors and communities and to helping create a more thoughtful, inclusive, and connected future.
