Kate Jamieson
Biography
Kate Jamieson began her career in account management at multi-national advertising agencies. She was Director, Marketing and New Media in the Office of the Premier of Ontario, leading strategy, research, and creative production across government, such as for post-secondary education and economic development. After Premier McGuinty transitioned from office, she became Director, Sponsorship and Brand Activation at Manulife, leading marketing for high profile events such as the LPGA Classic.
Jamieson was a marketing, communications and events consultant at InvestEco Capital and Boston Consulting Group where she was acting Head of Marketing and Social Impact. At BCG, she led the launch of the BCG Centre for Canada’s Future. She was later the Director, Marketing Communications at The Bishop Strachan School where she re-positioned the BSS brand and spearheaded an inbound marketing program. Most recently, she was Communications Advisor at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Jamieson holds a BAH, History from Queens’s University and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. She enjoys running, hiking, golfing, cross country and downhill skiing and is a mother of two active daughters.
