Lani Krantz

Lani Krantz is a communications specialist, responsible for supporting public relations and media relations initiatives across departments and institutes. This is her second role at University of Toronto, following two years as Media Relations Officer in the Office of the Vice-President, Communications where she pitched stories ranging from topics of research and innovation to social justice and politics.

Prior to that, Lani worked for nearly 14 years as a journalist with CBC/Radio-Canada, producing hundreds of news and current affairs radio and television interviews for national broadcast.

She holds a B.Sc. from U of T in International Development and Environmental Science and a post-graduate B. Journ. from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Lani is passionate about amplifying research and initiatives that help advance conversations about social issues, equity, justice and the environment.
