Biography

Pamela Bryant played a founding role in the design and launch of the School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto, including teaching policy implementation, developing the Master of Public Policy internship program and building relationships with governments, business and the non-profit sectors.  

Bryant came to the School after a long career in the Ontario Public Service where she led policy development and implementation in a diverse range of fields such as immigration and settlement, accessibility, and governance and service delivery reform. On leaving government, she remained active in policy and delivery reform at the community level, serving on the Board of Covenant House, as member and Chair, Fred Victor and as inaugural Chair, Seaton House Family Health Team. 

Bryant holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University and a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Toronto.
