Sophie Bourret-Klein

Biography
Sophie is a Higher Education Professional with five years of experience working in student services and community education. Currently, Sophie is the Program and Events Coordinator for the Centre for the Study of the United States, American Studies Ungergraduate program and the Centre for the Study of Global Japan. Previously, Sophie has worked as the Coordinator for the Centre for Integrative Anti-Racism Studies, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto. Sophie worked as the Lead Program Coordinator for the United Jewish People’s Order building relationships and fostering accessible spaces through community events and programming. She holds an honours B.A in Criminology and Socio-legal studies, Equity Studies and Sexual Diversity Studies from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Education in Social Justice Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Sophie is passionate about facilitating new opportunities for students and helping them succeed holistically.
