Susan Bonner spent more than a decade at the helm of the award winning CBC radio national daily newscast Your World Tonight, formerly The World at Six. The role included leading network radio special event coverage, including Canadian and U.S. elections, budgets and other major national and international breaking news events. Her work draws on four decades of radio and television journalism at CBC, primarily as a political journalist, with postings across the country and a decade in the CBC’s parliamentary bureau in Ottawa. An exhilarating posting in CBC’s Washington bureau cemented her commitment to understanding and explaining the critical and complex relationship between Canada and the U.S.
