These policies and procedures are reflective of the greater University of Toronto’s values and support its commitment to providing a supportive learning and working environment.

In order for the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for all event attendees, we ask registrants to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

  1. Be respectful and courteous toward others at all times, including but not limited to:
    1. Munk School property

    3. Guests
    4. Other attendees, in any Munk School-hosted space
  2. Harassment of any kind, from intimidation to verbal abuse to illegal behavior, will not be tolerated
  3. Racism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, ableism and other discriminatory behaviours are unacceptable at Munk School-related events
  4. Other behaviors, including but not limited to offensive written or verbal comments, harassing photography or recording, and sustained disruption of talks or other events, are inappropriate and will not be tolerated

Violation of any of these policies will result in action from event staff ranging from warnings to being banned or removed from physical or virtual spaces, including restrictions on attending or participating in future Munk School events.

Attendees asked to stop any harassment or inappropriate behaviour are expected to comply immediately and may be required to leave the event.

To address any harassment concerns, we recommend the following respectful actions:

  2. If you are not comfortable doing so, please inform a Munk School staff member or volunteer about the situation. Your concerns will be regarded with respect and taken seriously
