ABOUT THE EVENT
 
The first part of the lecture explained the origins and development of "counter-archives" and their evolution, in the context of internal and external Soviet dissidence and Cold War documentation policies. The second part of the lecture focussed on the collaborative project "Dissinvent" and its results. The final part reflected on some archival "returns" from France to the Russian Federation and their consequences.
