Toronto Annual Ukrainian Famine Lecture - Understanding Russia's War on Ukraine through the Holodomor
November 9, 2022 | 7:00PM - 9:30PM
In her lecture, Dr. Mattingly explored how the Holodomor offers a key to understanding the current war in Ukraine, both from a historical perspective and by revealing parallels in the objectives, methods and outcomes. She discussed how further studies of the Holodomor are pertinent to explaining the war and its international implications in an increasingly interconnected world.
