Munk School Undergraduate Course Auditing Policy
Large Munk School first- and second-year courses may be available for auditing. Individuals interested in auditing a course must submit the Munk School Audit Request Form (the form is only open during select periods indicated below). Auditor access is subject to availability, room capacity, and the course instructor’s and the department’s approval. Submission of the request form does not guarantee auditing access to a course.
- Auditing a course entitles you to attend lectures only.
- You may not submit any written work, attend tutorials, participate in online discussions, write term tests or the final exam. Auditors are not evaluated.
- Auditors are asked to kindly respect the time of Instructors and TAs, including office hours, as this is prioritized for registered students.
- The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy does not issue a certificate of attendance or keep a record of attendance.
- No auditing requests will be accepted after the start of the semester in which the course is scheduled.
-
There is no appeals process if your request to audit a course is rejected
Please contact the Undergraduate Coordinator should you have any questions. Please include “audit request” in your email subject.
