Sachin Aggarwal

Sachin Aggarwal is a Canadian entrepreneur, lawyer, investor, and public-policy leader with extensive experience building and governing technology-driven organizations. He is Chief Executive Officer of SkyCan Systems, a Canadian defence technology company developing sovereign, ITAR-free remotely piloted aircraft systems for Canada and allied nations. SkyCan operates at the intersection of national security, advanced manufacturing, defence procurement, and economic policy—areas of growing importance to Canadian public policy and expenditure.

Sachin is the former Chief Executive Officer of Think Research Corporation, where he led the company’s transformation into an international healthcare technology platform serving clinicians and healthcare organizations across North America and Europe. During his tenure, he built a portfolio spanning clinical software, healthcare services, data infrastructure, and medical education, leading the acquisition and growth of businesses including MDBriefCase, RxBriefCase, OncologyEducation, PostCall, and Pharmapod.

He is the majority shareholder and Chair of the Board of Sciteline Inc., a clinical-trials technology company whose digital platform helps researchers and healthcare organizations recruit participants, manage studies, and conduct decentralized clinical trials more efficiently. He is also Chair of the Board of LifeSpire Inc., a longevity and preventive-health company.

Through West 49 Investments, his private investment platform, Sachin invests in and supports growth-stage companies in technology, healthcare, defence, and other strategic sectors. He advises entrepreneurs and management teams on growth, governance, capital formation, and engagement with government.

Earlier in his career, Sachin practised law at Torys LLP and served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Leader of the Official Opposition in Ottawa. He serves on the board of the Council of Canadian Innovators, a national organization advocating for Canada’s high-growth technology companies.

Sachin was named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2017 and was recognized by MaRS Discovery District’s Portraits of Innovation. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and a law degree from the University of Toronto and has been called to the Bar in Ontario and New York.
