Sara Elhawash
Biography
Sara brings over 7 years of experience in marketing and communications. In her previous position at the Data Sciences Institute (DSI), she spearheaded the marketing strategy and execution for the launch of DSI’s Data Science and Machine Learning Software Foundations Certificates. She also managed the website, crafted news stories, and generated compelling content to foster community engagement and amplify the Institute's presence.
Prior to DSI, Sara held positions at the Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, as well as within the Ontario Government at the Ontario Heritage Trust. During her time, she created captivating content, producing videos, and launching impactful social media campaigns.
Beyond her marketing roles, Sara has engaged with all three levels of the Canadian government and has supported initiatives for various Canadian and global organizations, including the Young Diplomats of Canada.
Sara is a graduate of York University, where she earned a degree in Political Science. Her academic background instilled in her a passion for addressing global challenges and fostering community development within her field. Additionally, she holds multiple post-graduate certifications in digital marketing and communications.
