Snigdha Basu

Formerly at English-language news network New Delhi Television (NDTV), Snigdha has over eight years of experience investigating injustices and human rights violations based on religion, class, caste, ethnicity, nationality, and gender. As a reporter and anchor, she has produced news and current affairs content for international broadcasts. She worked with NDTV’s editorial teams and human rights organizations to develop content - ranging from news reports, videos and interviews on the Indian government’s alleged use of advanced spyware to target activists and political opponents. Snigdha holds a Master’s in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University.
